AI powered tools are entering the story development and script writing scene, promising the end to the writer’s block and to boost creativity, efficiency and speed. But (how) does AI assisted story development really work, beyond the hype? In a live experiment and starting with a newspaper article Thomas Kornmaier authorfor film TV and audio serials will go from idea to concept in 30 min and explore how AI Story Prompting can be used to brainstorm ideas and develop storylines and characters. The aim of this experiment is to explore how AI can be used in the development of films and series.
